The Overends Kitchen ethos is all about going with the seasons, promoting local produce, avoiding food waste and pioneering sustainable practices. The restaurant is located at Airfield Estate; a 38 acre working farm.
The ethos runs from farm to restaurant, resulting in honest, innovative food that looks and tastes amazing.
When the team at Overends approached us handle their brand refresh we knew this ethos needed to be better communicated with the customer. Having experienced the Overends food before we also wanted to make sure the branding didn’t overpower the freshness and beauty of the food and the setting. So part of our mission was to create a brand that heightened the culinary experience of the customer and allowed the food and setting to take centre focus.
Overends Kitchen sources its food from the working farm at Airfield. The menu changes with the seasons, the chefs work closely with the growers and the kitchen puts a lot of emphasis on sustainable practices and output.
The branding takes its cue from the kitchen’s working farm ethos. The design is a balance of freshness and functionality. The brand colours change with the seasons, the food packaging is simple and functional.
Inside, greenery is brought onto the tables. Natural materials are paired with functional elements.
